- Arthur Lake (Blondie’s Reward) … Dagwood Bumstead. He wants to go to college, and become the Big Man on Campus. Unfortunately, he’s a failure at every sport he tries out for. And Laura’s chasing him, making his wife jealous!
- Larry Simms (Blondie’s Holiday) … Alexander ‘Baby Dumpling’ Bumstead. He has a funny turn towards the end, when he visits his father at college. Tearfully!

In Blondie Goes to College, Dagwood decides to go to college. Blondie goes along with him, keeping their marriage a secret. They send Baby Dumpling off to military school where he becomes top sergeant. Blondie is hounded by the campus stud and Dagwood makes the rowing team. It is revealed that a new child is on the way.
