The Last Unicorn (1982) starring Mia Farrow, Jeff Bridges, Alan Arkin

The Last Unicorn – a bittersweet, touching fairy tale for adults and children alike. It’s the story of the last unicorn, on a quest to find out what happened to her fellow unicorns. Along the way, she finds multiple friends. And, possibly, true love …

The last Unicorn is a wonderful film. I often refer to it as a fairy tale for adults. It’s beautifully drawn, with excellent voice actors, that bring the story of life. It’s extremely well done, with a bittersweet story that resounds long after the end credits.
