Synopsis

In the Good Old Summertime is the story of two clerks in a turn of the 20th century Chicago sheet-music store. They’re intensely antagonistic toward each other at work. But unknown to them, they’re getting very chummy as pen pals. It’s a musical remake of The Shop Around the Corner.

Synopsis of Tea for Two

An aspiring actress takes a bet that she can answer “no” to every question for 24 hours. If she can, she’ll win the opportunity to finance and star in her own Broadway musical.  Based on the 1920’s stage play and film, “No, No, Nanette”.  The score features songs by George & Ira Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Al Dubin and Harry Warren.

Synopsis of Thank Your Lucky Stars

In Thank Your Lucky Stars, theater producers (Horton and Sakall) are staging a wartime charity program.  However, the production is taken over by their egotistical star (Eddie Cantor). Meanwhile, an aspiring singer (Dennis Morgan) and his songwriter girlfriend (Joan Leslie) conspire to get into the charity program by replacing Cantor with their look-alike friend, tour bus driver Joe Simpson (Eddie Cantor).
