The Human Duplicators (1965) starring Richard Kiel, Dolores Faith

The Human Duplicators – a low budget, cheesy science fiction movie. It deals with aliens coming to Earth, making android duplicates of government officials to rule the world! Unless love can throw a monkey wrench into the plans, of course.

Synopsis of The Agony and the Ecstasy

During the Italian Renaissance, Pope Julius II (Rex Harrison) contracts the influential artist Michelangelo (Charlton Heston).  He wants him to sculpt 40 statues for his tomb. However, the pope changes his mind and asks the sculptor to paint a mural in the Sistine Chapel.  Michelangelo doubts his painting skills and abandons the project. Divine inspiration returns Michelangelo to the mural, but his artistic vision clashes with the pope’s demanding personality and threatens the success of the historic painting.

Song lyrics to Tijuana Taxi, written by Bud Coleman (September 1965), recorded by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass

Down in old Tijuana town
There’s this happy honkin’ sound,
Something you just can’t put down
It’s the world renown Tijuana Taxi cab.
So, you’re not impressed you say
With a beat up Chevrolet
But that driver man Jose
Knows his way around Tijuana town.
