We’ve string beans, and onions Cabbageses, and scallions, And all sorts of fruit and say We have an old fashioned to-mah-to A Long Island po-tah-to But yes, we have no bananas. The world of cinema always had something to do with love, just like any other form of art out there. Why is that? Love seems to penetrate everything that we do in this life, from the love that our parents give us during our childhood, love that we give to our first crush in school, love that we give to our partners, and the love that we give to our own children. Love is the most powerful feeling in the world, and thus, we want to share the love that we feel for someone in this world with the rest of the people around us, with all the beauties and horrors of this feeling. I am a big fan of the British cinema, so I am a little bit biased, but that doesn’t mean that it is not worth praising it for all the masterpieces that were created under its proud banner.
