- Eva Moore … Rebecca Femm. The very strict, controlling sister. Who clearly hates, looks down on, attractive woman. Assuming they must be sinful. And her own family.
- Raymond Massey (A Matter of Life and Death) … Philip Waverton. Margaret’s husband, the primary protagonist.
- Gloria Stuart (The Invisible Man) … Margaret Waverton. Philip’s wife, whom Rebecca dislikes.
- Elspeth Dudgeon … Sir Roderick Femm. The 102-year old father of the Femm family, still living in the house.
- Brember Wills … Saul Femm. The mystery member of the family, who’s kept locked in his room. Presumed to be very dangerous.
